Super Eagles have returned to Asaba after a 1-1 draw with South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.

The stalemate was enough to see Nigeria qualify for the 2019 AFCON to be hosted by Cameroon.

In the early hours of Sunday afternoon, the team’s chartered aircraft landed in Asaba, Delta State.

The team will return to training for their friendly match against Uganda on Tuesday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.

The Gernot Rohr tutored side is expected to take Sunday off, before returning to training on Monday morning.
