Coach of Nigeria’s home based senior national team, Salisu Yusuf, is in need of more strikers ahead of the 2018 Championship for African Nations (CHAN) in January.

Admitting a deficiency in the attack, Yusuf said the coaching crew will shop for more reliable strikers from the Nigeria Professional Football League.

“We have problems in the attack. There are certain areas in the team we need to bring more competition to. Like the attacking area.

“We want a situation where we will have 4 or 5 players in one position, so that we have options to work with,” he told Score Nigeria.

MFM FC striker Stephen Odey, who scored 18 goals in the out-gone season, has already moved to FC Zurich of Switzerland while Ibrahim Alhassan ‘Muazzam’, who netted 12 goals, has joined Austria Wien.
