Nigeria’s Super Eagles have moved two steps up in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday.

For June, Nigeria moved to 38th in the world, from May’s 40th position.

Nigeria however moved one step higher, to 4th place in Africa.

Egypt, Senegal and Cameroon held on the top three places on the continent, with the North Africans sitting on the 20th spot in the world.

The top 10 in the world remained static as Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Chile and Colombia held on to the top 5 places.

Nigeria played a 1-1 draw with Corsica on May 25, and are due to take on Togo on Thursday night in another friendly.

The Super Eagles will also play South Africa on June 10 in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo.
