A special football match is being planned as one of the activities to mark the annual International Anti-Corruption Day which falls on December 9.

Daily Trust reports that former Super Eagles stars will play against World Football legends in a match tagged “Match Against Corruption.”

“The match is part of the effort to help draw the attention of the world to the negative effects of corruption on the society and the need to fight it head long,” one of the match organizers, Abi Goodman, said.

The Super Eagles team will be managed by the team’s former technical adviser and the brain behind Nigeria’s unforgettable Atlanta 96 Olympics football gold medal, Bonfrere Jo.

The footballers who will be playing on both teams are yet to be announced, they had better be our favorite stars.
