Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu has shifted his focus to the international friendly against Argentina after Friday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier 1-1 draw at Algeria.

Ogu’s brilliant 62nd minute curler flew past goalkeeper Faouzi Chaouchi and right into the net to give Nigeria the lead.

However, the game ended 1-1 after Yacine Brahimi converted from the spot in the closing minutes.

The Hapoel Beer Sheva player has now shifted his focus to the friendly in Argentina, scheduled for Tuesday in Krasnodar, Russia.

“I want to say thank you to God for the goal, we played against a good (Algeria) side and coming out with the draw is something to be proud of.

“We just want to continue from where we stopped against Argentina in the next friendly. I want the fans to expect a better performance from us.” He said.
