The Eagles gaffer, who interestingly had previously handled the Burkinabe, says he is very much optimistic that the Burkina Faso team will not suffer the same fate that saw them fail to honour the earlier March 27 date.

In the meantime, Rohr has hinted that he would be using the May friendly to take a closer look at some of his new recruits including Chelsea's, Ola Aina and Arsenal loanee, Chuba Akpom.

The youngsters trained with the Nigerian national team in March, took part in a practice game between Team A and Team B at the Hive Stadium.

“We have seen the likes of Ola Aina, Tyronne Ebuehi Bazee, and Chuba Akpom in London,” Rohr told Super Sport
