The Nigeria Football Federation and the Football fraternity are in mourning mood yet again, this time over the demise of the mother of the Super Eagles Coach Salisu Yusuf.

Bounce Sports gathered that Hajiya Binta Yusuf died in the early hours of Thursday at the ripe age of 88 years.

A tweet on the Super Eagle Twitter handle read:

"Hajiya Binta Yusuf died in the early hour of today, Thursday at the age of 88 years at her residence in Gadon Maya quarters in Kano municipality.

"Late Hajiya Binta have been buried according to Islamic rites in Dandolo graveyard in Kano state.

'Kano pillars FC management board members, Kano FA members and other football family are among hundreds of people that attended the burial" Idris Malikawa, the Spokesperson for Kano Pillars FC, said in a short press statement.
