No doubt, the West African nation knows what it means to be at the tournament after missing out on the last two editions.

After morning training, the team left Abuja on Monday and landed in Uyo. On arrival they met with the team's trainer and did some individual warmup.

On Tuesday morning, the team, led by coach Gernot Rohr took to the Godswill Akpabio stadium pitch to have a feel of the turf ahead of Saturday’s game.

The Super Eagles will train on the pitch for four days before the game against South Africa.

Nigeria played a 1-1 draw with Corsica on May 25 before beating Togo 3-0 on June 1 in France.
