Sony Music, R. Kelly‘s record label of 30 years, has parted ways with him.

Sources confirm that the singer has been dumped by his record label.

When Bounce News checked the RCA Records website, R Kelly’s name had been removed from the site.

RCA is the record label for Sony Music that houses most of the artistes signed to it, including Nigeria's Davido and Wizkid.

The move follows the airing of the documentary “Surviving R. Kelly” and protests against the singer outside the Sony building.

Several artistes including Lady Gaga, Celine Dion and Pussy Cat Dolls are working on removing songs where they collaborated with the troubled singer from streaming platforms.
