To show that they are fans of music superstars Wizkid and Davido - they got tattoos.

One put Wizkid and Davido's faces on his back, while the lady put Davido's OBO logo between her breasts.

Why would you want to get a tattoo of a celebrity on your body?

Is it to prove that your a die-hard fan? Or is there more to it?

The man behind the tattoo studio in Lekki, Shatta Ink who goes by the alias Shatta, explained to Bounce News that getting these tattoos of celebrities seems trendy, but it does not make them real fans.

"People come with their own tattoo's, then I find out if they know the meaning, before they put a tattoo on their skin.

"Tattoo's have meanings, they could bring good luck or  bad luck.

"People who put the pictures of Davido and Wizkid on their bodies, are just doing it to be famous, they just want the artiste to look out for them.

"They are not fans, they are doing it for the money. They do it to collect cash from the musicians. It's wrong" he said.

He also advised people who want to put the faces or logos of celebrities on their skin to apply temporary tattoo's that would disappear between 3 to 8 months.
