Secretary-General of the National Committee for Drug Control, Abdul-Ella Al-Sharif, said in an interview that the artist’s dance move was “contrary to the national strategy to combat drugs” and he had been arrested in the same way anyone who “incites or advocates for abuse of drugs” would be.
The Shahani has apologized on Twitter for his crime.
Dabbing is a dance move, where the arms are put slantingly in the air, both pointing to the same side with one arm under the chin with head turned to the side.
