Nigeria will be playing two international friendly games against Senegal and Burkina Faso in a week’s time.

Venue has been fixed, time has been scheduled and players have been invited.

But former Super Eagles goalkeeper Ike Shorunmu has some words of advise for coach Gernot Rohr.

“A coach can achieve so much with 25 invited players,” he told NAN.

“I believe the coach wants the best, so he should select players that can give him the result he needs to achieve his objective.

“We need this qualifications than ever before, our qualification will excite Nigerians once again, we owe them that much,’’ the ex-Super Eagles goalkeeper said.

Both matches will be played at The Hive, home ground of Barnet Football Club, and 25 players have been incited, including Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi.

Germany-based forward Noah Joel Bazee and Holland-based defender Tyronne Ebuehi will join up with the squad for the first time.
