The family of the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Tony Anenih, has lost a gem.

Eugene Anenih, son of the influential politician and elder statesman, died of of heart attack while playing lawn tennis.

The deceased, who is a stockbroker, served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nova Finance.

It was gathered that he slumped and passed away at the popular Ikoyi Club on Sunday.

Eugene's death is coming at a time when the influential politician is still mourning the loss of his wife.

On April 15, Patricia, his second wife aged 74, died after a protracted illness.

Tony Anenih, who hails from Uromi Local Government Area in Edo state, is aged 83.
