Fulham’s new arrival, Sheyi Ojo, could cause a bit of discomfort for Nigerian striker, Sone Aluko.

Ojo joined the Championship club on loan from Liverpool in a bid to get more playing time.

The 20-year-old turned down offers from English Premier League club Newcastle United, and Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, Birmingham City and Middlesbrough.

Aluko, who has scored eight goals in 39 appearances since joining Fulham in 2016, is currently at the centre of a long-running disagreement between Fulham board and the increasingly-frustrated manager Slavisa Jokanovic.

The manager has refused to let Aluko join another club, following interest from Reading, but Fulham board has refused to give the Nigerian a new deal.

Aluko’s future may now be in doubt at Craven Cottage due to the arrival of compatriot Ojo, who was drafted to the team just in case the former Hull City forward leaves.
