The Police Command in Nasarawa State on Thursday arrested two students of Government Secondary School (GSS), Wamba, for allegedly setting ablaze two laboratories and a hostel in the school.

The command spokesman, DSP Idrisu Kennedy, confirmed the arrest and said that the suspects were cooperating with the police on the investigation.

Considering that these are secondary school students, he said that their age would determine whether they would be charged to court or not.

It, however, appears there would still be strong repercussion for the act going by his warning that the police would not spare anyone caught violating the law.

The Principal of the school, Sani Giza, told NAN that the students being investigated by the police are final year students.

Giza said the suspects allegedly set fire on Nasarawa Hostel, Biology and Home Economic laboratories.

He added that they were handed over to the police by the school authorities for further investigation.
