SCANDAL! Uber Driver Scams, Embarrasses Female Rider
It was Thursday, May 17, 2018 at about 7pm.
Bounce News ordered a ride for one of its guests from Oregun to Iju Ishaga area in Lagos.
Having maintained a corporate account with Uber, the ride was prepaid.
On arrival at Ishaga, the driver who has been identified as Oluseun Anifowose (he drives a Silver Toyota Corolla - SMK409EX); demanded for cash.
The guest, who was surprised, explained to him that the ride was prepaid.
Oluseun insisted that the ride was not prepaid. He became aggressive and demanded that cash be paid immediately otherwise 'hell will be let loose'.
The guest, who became embarrassed, decided to pay the total sum and walk away.
The Bounce News account was charged N3,300.
This means UBER and its agent received N6,600 for a trip from Oregun to Iju Ishaga within the Lagos metropolis.
Bounce News contacted Oluseun on his personal phone number on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 after the guest called to share her horrifying experience.
Oluseun asked that an account number be sent to him privately and the sum will be refunded by Friday, May 25, 2018.
After a ridiculous rant, he said his money has been tied up with UBER and he cut the phone call after claiming he made a mistake.
