Super Eagles defender, Bryan Idowu, has gone clubless after representing Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Idowu’s Russian club, Amkar Perm, have declared bankrupt and consequently released all their players including Idowu.

The 26-year-old had a contract with Amkar Perm till the summer of 2020.

But the Nigerian will now have to search for his next destination, while hoping he gets paid by Amkar Perm.

It could be recalled that former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu’s former English club, Portsmouth went bankrupt in 2010 and owed the player over 750 million naira at the time.
