Romelu Lukaku scored twice to ensure Belgium begin their 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign on a winning note.

Belgium beat Panama 3-0 in front of 43,257 spectators at the Fisht Stadium on Monday to top Group G ahead of England Vs Tunisia fixture.

Panama put out a fighting spirit from the start, and they missed some chances before forcing a goalless result at half time.

Fresh from the break, a more experienced Belgian side went ahead when Dries Mertens scored in the 47th minute.

Lukaku then scored his two goals within six minutes to get Belgium's campaign off to a roaring start.

His first came in the 69th minute through a terrifically executed diving header from Kevin De Bruyne's ball.

Lukaku then completed his own double, finding himself clean through before dinking over the keeper.
