Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola may be the replacement for Jorge Sampaoli as coach of Argentina national team.

But the issue was managed and Argentina went on to beat the Super Eagles 2-1 and qualify for the Round of 16.

Reports in England says AFA are willing to pay Pep $12m a year until 2022.

It is believed that the Catalan has a good relationship with Messi and confessed to Aguero he'd be interested in managing the team, despite feeling an Argentine should be in charge.
