Former Super Eagles midfielder, Friday Ekpo has some advice for the Super Eagles as they square up against Argentina in their last group match at the Russia 2018 World Cup.

The Ex-International said the Super Eagles should play like a typical African team and not like Europeans if they want to take anything away from the match.

Ekpo while speaking with Bounce News congratulated the boys for their hard-fought victory against Iceland.

He said the match against Argentina is a do-or die affair most especially for Argentina as anything aside a win for them could lead to their elimination from the competition.

“The Super Eagles must go for a win or at worst a draw. The team must play to their strength and play like Africans and not Europeans.

“The Argentina will come with different tactics and antics to ensure victory, so the Eagles must be ready to play to their strength using their peculiar African tactics and antics too”.

He advised Coach Gernot Rohr to stick with the winning formula he used against Iceland believing that if it is not broken, no point fixing it.

“The coach knows the players better than we do. Whoever he has picked to execute his tactics against Argentina deserves it.

“The players should fight for every ball on the pitch and should not allow Argentina to dictate the pace of the game,” he said.

Meanwhile Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr will be banking on inform striker Ahmed Musa to wreak havoc in their deciding match against Argentina on Tuesday.

The CSKA Moscow man proved the difference as Nigeria beat Iceland 2-0 at Volgograd Arena on Friday evening, scoring twice in the second half as his pace wreaked havoc.

Iceland looked a lot more comfortable against Messi in their opening game, but Rohr has warned not to get carried away by Musa’s performance.
