Qualifying for the World Cup finals from the multitude of nations in the race for the limited slots is a remarkable feat.

It is even more special when such qualifications are earned without a defeat.

As the world gets set for the Russia 2018 World Cup, Bounce Sports celebrates the Super Eagles being one of only SEVEN countries worldwide to remain unbeaten in the qualifying campaign for Russia 2018.

Nigeria (Super Eagles)

The three-time African champions were the first from their continent to book a ticket to Russia. This would be the sixth time they will be campaigning in the World Cup since making their debut at the USA 1994 edition.


Brazil (Samba Boys)

They are the first team to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, maintaining their proud record as the tournament's only ever-present side. The Brazilians are also the most successful team at the World Cup with five titles and still counting.



The defending champions are again the team to beat and they have not shown any sign of slowing down after their latest conquest of the world. At the Confederation Cup even with a makeshift team, the Germans beat all other continental champions. Germany in Group C won all their 10 games in the qualifiers finishing with an astonishing 30 points.


England (Three Lions)

Like always, the English team never disappoints during qualifiers, but it is a different ball game during competition proper. Let’s wait and see if anything will change in Russia for the Three Lions. They won eight and drew two during the qualifiers.


Spain (La Roja)

The 2010 world champions are looking to redeem their image after a poor show at the last world cup. During the qualifiers, they were ruthless wining nine out their 10 games and drawing just once.

They scored an astonishing 33 goals and conceded just three in the process.



Presently boasting of one of the most talented squads in the world, the Belgians made their firepower count during the qualifiers. They won nine and drew just one of their game in the series. The Belgians are ranked high among the scoring team netting 43 times in their 10 games.



Though not the usual footballing nation, Iran where shoulders above their contemporaries in Asian region where they had to play eight game in which they won six and drew two.
