Royal Wedding: 4 Reasons Harry & Meghan Deserve A Lagos Party
Finally, it's D-DAY!
The bells are chiming, children are smiling and the atmosphere around London is electric.
The charming prince is read to say "I DO" to the pretty damsel who is obviously not in distress.
As sweet and unbelievable as it seems, it's happening. Tell everyone you know that Prince Harry is off the shelf.
With all the order and diamonds that would be glittering and the media paparazzi and frenzy that would mark the occasion; we truly believe these two love birds would get bored and hold in all their positive energy.
We know they both have decent wild sides.
Here are 4 reasons we believe the couple should have been served a true Lagos Party:
1. They both like Adventure
Their first night together was the result of a well crafted and planned blind date.
It was in July 2016 and they knew very little about each other before they met on that faithful night.
The idea of meeting a Prince for Meghan was exciting while Harry was overwhelmed with affection.
These two people would have no fear coming to Lagos regardless of nonsense talk about security concerns.
These two have enough courage to visit the emerging smart city and enjoy the buzz.
2. They both love Africa
Visiting the continent wouldn't be new to the couple. Their first trip as a couple was to the southern African nation of Botswana.
"It was I think about three, maybe four weeks later that I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana," Harry said of their whirlwind romance.
"And we camped out with each other under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic."
3. They love to dance
While in Botswana Meghan took out all the stops and let her hair down.
She was loved by the people of Botswana and the host community with whom they related cordially.
She even took to the dance floor and shared a few steps with a rather delighted group of women.
Although Meghan loves jazz and soulful music, Harry love to blast his eardrums with hip hop.
Perhaps Wizkid, Davido and Tiwa Savage would have been the entertainers on a fun night in Lagos.
Did you know Harry can dab?
4. Meghan is Black and Very Beautiful!
To all those who are racists and bigots, SHAME ON YOU! A black lady has joined the Brits royal heritage and that means the same slaves that the Brits colonised across Africa have come to take root within Bukingham Palace.
There is no difference between black and white people and the couple obviously have zero tolerance for racism.
Even when Princess Michael of Kent, the wife of the Queen’s first cousin, was pictured arriving at Buckingham Palace wearing a brooch on her left shoulder which appeared to be “blackamoor” jewelry, depicting the bust of a black person with a gold crown and colorful crystals; the couple stayed strong.
By the way congrats to the Queen of England - smile naaaa... Mama Charlie!
