For some players, the Chinese Super League isn’t just attractive to them no matter the money put on the table.

On a day where Brazilian star, Paulinho surprisingly dumped Barcelona to return to his Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande, it is understood that Cristiano Ronaldo has turned down a lucrative offer coming from the Far East.

It is being reported by Marca that Ronaldo outrightly turned down the lucrative move to the Chinese Super League.

Ronaldo was reportedly offered €100 million (£88.5 million) per year by an unnamed Chinese club but he rejected the offer because he believes he still has what it takes to compete at the top level in Europe.

The same report says that when the time comes Ronaldo will retire in the MLS.
