Mohamed Salah has a lot of fans across the world and one of those on the 'A list' is legendary Brazil striker, Ronaldo de Lima who has revealed his admiration for the Liverpool forward.

For Ronaldo, he believes Salah is similar in skillset to Lionel Messi.

All eyes will be on Salah in this weekend's Champions League final against Real Madrid, as the Golden Boot winner aims to cap a stellar campaign by lifting the famous trophy.

Ronaldo believes that there are comparisons to be made between the 25-year-old and another prolific forward in Messi, and he also admits to being "excited" by the fact that Salah has cited him as one of his heroes when growing up.

"Salah, I love him. He is an incredible player with a tremendous quality," he told El Partidazo de COPE. "He looks like Messi. I recently read him saying that I had been his inspiration and I was excited."

Salah broke the record for the number of goals scored in a 38-game Premier League season by netting 32 times for the Reds.
