Rohr has joined the home-based professionals presently camping in Kano for the Africa Nations Championship, CHAN qualifying match.

The CHAN Eagles as the home-based team are fondly referred to resumed camping after the weekend break afforded the invited players the opportunity to go and feature for their respective teams in the NPFL.

Rohr is expected to offer his expertise even though Coach Salisu Yususf is officially in charge of the CHAN Eagles.

The first leg of their qualifying fixture against Benin Republic will be in Cotonou on 13th August and according to the NFF Scribe Mohammed Sanusi, the Super Eagles’ delegation will depart for the away match on August 11.

They are expected to return to Kano to continue camping for the second leg, which will come up on 19th August.

Nigeria's best outing in the CHAN tournament was in 2014 in South Africa when they secured a bronze medal.

This present team will be hoping to surpass that performance if they qualify for CHAN2018 to be hosted by Kenya.
