REVENGE?! Angry Youths Beat 32-Year-Old Man To Death
There is problem within the Amagbudu family at Ugwulangwu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
This follows the death of a 32-year-old Ogori Chukwuma, who was beaten by youths of his kindred.
The controversy that led to his death allegedly started when one Ifeanyi Chukwu Sunday, a close friend to late Chukwuma Ogori’s sister, Ngozi, was crushed by a truck belonging to Ebonyi State Ministry of Works.
The sad incident occurred along Ukawu Ugwulangwu road when he was going to the market to buy okpa (processed bean), for his lover (Miss Ngozi Ogori).
Ifeanyi Chukwu was allegedly crushed beyond recognition by the truck while on his motorcycle.
The deceased is reported to be a successful businessman resident in Ekiti state, but visits his state of origin to see his family.
His family members, who are still in shock following the death of their son, decided to invite the family of Ogori for dialogue.

On arrival at the late Ifeanyi's compound, irate youths numbering about 12 pounced on Mr. Ogori, his wife and children.
The angry youths beat all of them up, and eventually killed Ogori Chukwuma.
Ifeanyi relatives, it was gathered accused the girl friend who was in the hospital of killing their son (Ifeanyi) through diabolical means.
It was alleged that one Peter Nwokeke had requested that Mr. Ogori should bring his sister to their family meeting to prove her innocence, that she did not kill Ifeanyi Chukwu, her boyfriend, but when they got there, they retaliated by killing her brother.
Consequently, the death of Ogori Chukwuma was said to have prevented the planned burial of Ifeanyi Chukwu Sunday, whose relatives the Ministry of Works had paid compensation, amounting to N700,000.
Both dead bodies are said to be in the mortuary.
Frank Ogori, elder brother to the murdered Chukwuma Ogori, condemned the brutal killing of his brother, and said his sister is ready to take an oath to prove her innocence.
He said his family has been thrown into mourning following the brutal killing of their brother and manhandling of his father.
“Our family after the incident had gone to the family to console with them. One of the family members by name, Peter Nwokike came and invited my father for another meeting.
“My parents all gathered, but when they got there, they demanded to see my sister on Sunday that the burial would hold on Tuesday.
“We did not suspect any revenge, we only thought that if they are suspecting my sister, she will take oath. And that was what we had in mind, and not that they will fight us and kill our brother,” he said.
The father of the late Chukwuma, Chief Charles Nwani Ogori and his wife Mary Ogori, lamented how they were badly treated.
Efforts to speak with Ifeanyi Chukwu Sunday's family proved abortive.
The Police Command Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Loveth Odah, who confirmed the incident, said the police has commenced investigation.
