The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo met with former vice president Atiku Abubakar in a meeting hosted by former president Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta on Thursday.

The full details of their meeting have not been made public at the time of this report, we gathered it is not unconnected to the 2019 presidential election.

Atiku, who is the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, is seeking to unseat president Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 elections.

Also in the meeting on Thursday was Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah.

Atiku took to twitter to send a message to Oyedepo after their meeting with Obasanjo.

“Thank you for the prayers, Bishop Oyedepo. God bless Nigeria.” He wrote.
