The Presidency has disowned Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State over his statement that Muhammadu Buhari will return from London in two weeks.

Okorocha made the claim after he led other governors to visit Buhari who has been in London since May.

Reacting on Tuesday, the Presidency said there was no fixed date for Buhari’s return to Nigeria.

Sources in the Presidency say even though Buhari’s health has improved, only his doctors can give a date for his eventual return.

Femi Adesina, Buhari’s spokesperson, had early confirmed that the President will not be back so soon.

Six governors are also set to travel to London to visit Buhari, on Wednesday.

The governors are to be led by Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara and include governors of Ebonyi, Kano, Benue, Akwa Ibom, and Oyo.

Buhari has been in the UK since May 7 for follow-up consultations with his doctors.
