With the rumour of his death coming just about eight days after he traveled to the UK for medical attention, there is no better time to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari.

After their party successfully doused the tension raised when a blog claimed the President had died, members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are now asking for prayers.

The Publicity Secretary of the party in Ondo State, Abayomi Adesanya, on Monday urged Nigerians to pray for good health and the quick recovery of the President.

“Nigerians, home and abroad should continue to pray for the good health and quick recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari so that he can complete the rebuilding of a new prosperous Nigeria free of corruption and nepotism,” he said.

Adesanya said the emergence of Buhari as President is the best thing to have happened in Nigeria in 2015.

He said that Nigeria was on the verge of collapse when President Buhari took over from the previous administration led by Goodluck Jonathan.

“But for President Buhari’s integrity, Nigeria under former President Goodluck Jonathan was heading and drifting towards anarchy and a failed state.

“Nigeria is better under Buhari, and I can assure that it would be better and stable at the expiration of President Buhari/APC’s presidency,” he said.

President Buhari, had on Sunday, May 7, traveled to London for a follow-up medical consultation with his doctors over a yet to be made known ailment.
