Nigerian singer and rapper, Viktoh who was allegedly assaulted by an officer of the Lagos State Police command, has called out Nigerians for being hypocrites.

The musician, who was signed to Olamide's YBNL for some years, expressed his sadness at how there is too much hate in the country.

In a series of Tweets, he shared after the incident, Viktoh said, "I kept on tweeting and fighting against this police brutality, but you guys ignored me now it has happened to me and someone is saying I never did something about it? This is sad."

“Too much hate in this country share. Some people even said I should shut up and face my career like what’s happening to people of this world” Viktoh tweeted.

The incident occurred at Alpha Beach Road Igbo Efon, Lekki, while Viktoh was on his way to the African shrine for rapper Zlatan’s concert and left the eye of the singer swollen.

After the police brutality incident hit the internet some Nigerians decided to condemn the singer for complaining about the incident rather than facing his dying career.
