The Togolese man who allegedly murdered Chief Opeyemi Bademasi on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at his Parkview Estate, Ikoyi residence has been arrested.

The fleeing cook, later identified as Sunday Anani, 22 years of age, was arrested about 9.30pm on Friday in Ondo town, Ondo state.

Homicide detectives attached to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) Panti Street, Yaba apprehended him.

He has since been undergoing interrogation.

Anani allegedly killed his boss barely three days after he employed him as a cook.

The Lagos CP had earlier promised Lagosians that the suspect would be arrested to face the law; that he could only run but not hide.

Spurred by his men’s swift arrest of the suspect, Mr Edgal has now given the assurance that at end of the investigation, the Command would give the public detailed account of how the suspect committed the crime.
