While some people are still in holiday mood, some are waging wars and consequently destroying properties.

Two warring groups engaged themselves in Oke-Ado area of Ibadan in a violent clash.

That clash paralysed business activities in the area as properties worth millions of naira were destroyed while several houses were burgled.

Relics from burgled houses, shops, burnt tricycles, commercial motorcycles, broken bottles and pieces of wood from chairs and tables littered the streets.

But the police in the state say it has arrested 14 suspects in connection with the clash.

The police spokesman in the state, SP Adekunle Ajisebutu said the deployment of his men has restored relative peace to the affected area.

Ajisebutu, who said he was yet to ascertain the casualty figure, added that the command was currently investigating the incident, which began on Tuesday, in order to ascertain the circumstances that led to the clash.
