These two teenagers (names withheld), ages 13 and 14 years, have for some time specialized in breaking into people’s shops at the dead of the night.

Luck however, ran out on them when they burgled a shop located at Block 397, Jakande Estate, Ejigbo and made away with a generator, laptop, amplifier and CD mixer.

When kids are into crime, you can almost bet on them being backed by an adult, that led the police to arrest their adult collaborators.

Adejagun Babatunde (27) and Lawal Wasiu (20) are responsible for buying the stolen goods. Babatunde bought the stolen HP Laptop for two thousand naira only.

The adult suspects will have their day in court while the child offenders would be handed over to the Gender Section for appropriate action.

In a related development, another teenager, 18-year-old Ikechukwu Kalu was arrested red-handed by operatives at Ejigbo Police Station, as he was stealing a water pumping machine.

This suspect will, however, not escape the law as he is already 18 years old.
