Recuperating Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has joined Madura United FC striker Peter Odemwingie to mourn the death of Indonesian goalkeeper, Choirul Huda.

Huda died following a collision with one of his Persela teammate Ramon Rodrigues during a league game on Sunday.

“RIP Choirul Huda. My prayers to you and your family,” Pogba wrote on his Twitter handle on Monday.

Odemwingie, who also plays in the Indonesian league, wants Huda to be remembered for his courage and team spirit.

“Unbelievable. I am deeply saddened. My condolences to his family. Choirul Huda, RIP brother,” he wrote on Twitter.

Huda played for Persela throughout his entire career, since making his debut in 1999.
