Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba could face worse punishment after he was sent off in a 3-1 victory over Arsenal on Saturday.

Pogba will miss Sunday’s clash against Manchester City as he begins a three-match ban for violent conduct.

Reports in England say the French international could incur further sanctions for sarcastically applauding referee, Andre Marriner’s decision.

If Marriner includes Pogba’s applaud in his report to the FA, a disrepute charge could follow.

United are yet to decide whether to appeal Pogba’s ban.

It was the first time Pogba had been sent off since May 2013 when he was playing for Juventus against Palermo.
