Good Samaritans of Sobo Oke Community Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital on Thursday morning helped rescue a storey building behind a mini market in the community from being razed down by fire even before the arrival of the Kwara State Fire service.

The cause of the fire which occurred on Thursday morning cannot be ascertained as one of the eye witnesses who spoke with Bounce News said he was not sure if it was a power surge due to the initial power outage in community that led to the inferno.

It was gathered that some of  boys who lived in the community rushed to the building to put off the fire before the Kwara State Fire service arrived to put it off completely with their wealth of experience

One of the good Samaritans who Bounce News saw speaking with one of the traders said: "Yes, the traders can see that it is good to have boys around, they can also see that it good not to look down on anyone around"

The cause of the fire was still being investigated as at the time of filling the report.
