Though there was no noise around a planned delegation form Ogun State to 'cheer' Anthony Joshua to victory in his latest fight which was against Joseph Parker, photos have emerged showing the Ogun State Governor was live at the Principality Stadium in Wales.

Joshua required an unanimous points decision to overcome Parker late Saturday night and the Nigeria-born British fighter is not shying away from identifying with his father's land as he even brought a Nigerian flag to the ring.

With boxing struggling to survive in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole, many have called on the Ogun State governor and indeed sports authorities to do the needful and not just aim for cheap publicity with the AJ title fights.
