The time was around 8.57 am on Friday, July 20 when the concerned agencies started receiving distress calls about the passenger train that collided with a parked commercial bus in Agege, Lagos.

The Lagos state Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA) could only manage to prevent as escalation of the incident.

Two persons died while one sustained injuries. All three of them were among the hanging passengers who fell off the moving train.

The General Manager of LASEMA Mr Adesina Tiamiyu has again advised residents about the overall safety measures to put in place before boarding a train.

He also warned them to desist from hanging on moving train to avoid unnecessary loss of lives in the state.
