Henrikh Mkhitaryan trained with his new team mates at Arsenal for the first time on Tuesday at their London Colney base.

The midfielder moved from Manchester United to the Emirates Stadium on Monday as part of a swap deal.

The other news is that the Armenian has not only taken over Alexis Sanchez 's role at Arsenal.

Mkhitaryan has been handed the No 7 shirt vacated by Sanchez, and previously worn by club greats.

However, due to UEFA rules Mkhitaryan will have to wear a different number in the Europa League games.

Arsenal announced the shirt number on Twitter, using '#MKHITAR7AN', with the shirt going on sale from the club store for between £71 and £166, depending on the make.

Mkhitaryan was given a quick introduction to life at Arsenal however, as he was given the run-around in a training drill by Jack Wilshere and he seemed to be settling in well.
