PHOTOS: Fayose Honours Jonathan With Something Special
Former President Goodluck Jonathan may have left office, but he is still dear to the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.
His fondness for him showed on Friday when he commissioned the new Government House in Ekiti State and gave him a surprise.
The building has a Presidential lodge that Presidents who visit Ekiti State could stay.
However, every President that will visit and stay in that lodge will have to see the name of the man from Bayelsa State crested on the wall, just by the entrance of the building.
Apparently, Governor Fayose decided to be partisan and honour the man who ruled under his political party, the Peoples Democratic Party.
The former President was at the occasion and must have felt fulfilled when he saw his name on the wall of the building that got commissioned nearly three years after he handed over to President Muhammadu Buhari, who Fayose has always criticised.
Other governors of the peoples Democratic party, especially those from southern Nigeria were at the event.
