Some members of an Abuja church were seen kneeling down to welcome their pastor.

The pastor, Bishop Emmanuel Esezobor, who is the general overseer of Fire House Church International, was alighting from his Mercedes Benz G-wagon when four grown up men, wearing suits, went on their kneels to welcome him.

In the photo that has since gone viral, a mobile policeman was also seen opening the car door as the pastor made his way out of the vehicle.

A Facebook user Sola Joshua shared the photo on his page and wrote: "Picture speaks: Bishop Dr. Emmanuel Esezobor, General Overseer of Fire House Church International Abuja, his Mercedes Benz G-wagon, police escort and some members of church protocol; young men deeply held in bondage by religious superstition- The scourge of a Nation."

The photo has drawn condemnation from many.
