The joy on their faces tell the story.

Over 3 years ago, they were kidnapped from their secondary school in Chibok, Borno State and held captive at the camp of Boko Haram terrorists.

They must have shed tears continually and lost hope of being reconciled with their loved ones.

Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, months into years, still no hope in sight.

Suddenly, light shone at the end of the tunnel for them, as they were eventually released after negotiations between the government and the terrorists.

Joy Bishara(20), and Lydia Pogu, (19), met with President Donald Trump and first daughter, Ivanka at the White House.

The girls moved to the United States after their release to complete school.

They were able to attend boarding school in Virginia, with the help of a Christian non-profit organization.

Ivanka confirmed the meeting on her official Instagram page.
