President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday in London received the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby and High Commissioner of Nigeria to United Kingdom. 

It is the first activity of the President that has been made public since he left for the United Kingdom on Monday.

The spokesman for the President, Mr Femi Adesina, who was also at the meeting, posted images of the President and his guests on his Facebook page.

Also at the President's lodge were the High Commission of Nigeria to United Kingdom, Ambassador George Oguntade and Secretary General Worldwide of Anglican Communion, Archbishop Josiah Idowu-Fearon.

Archbishop Welby handed President Buhari a book he wrote with the title, REIMAGINING BRITAIN.

President Buhari left Nigeria on Monday for the UK where he would be meeting with Prime Minister Theresa May and also hold a series of meetings a week before the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

There have been insinuations that the President travelled to London to see his doctors, but the Presidency has dismissed this claims.
