The former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, on Monday hosted Peter Obi, the running mate of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

Both members of the opposition party met at the Lagos residence of Mr Fayose.

It came weeks after Obi was picked by Atiku who was a former Vice President, as his running mate in the 2019 presidential election.

Mr Fayose recently had issues with the PDP that resulted in his removal and reinstatement as the party leader in Ekiti.
