It was a horrific sight on Thursday by the entrance of the path¬way to Loum villagers’ farms in Umunze, Anambra State.

Two young ladies were found dead by the expressway way after the Federal Government College of Education, Technical, with some of their body parts removed.

Villagers said that the ladies had their tongues cut off and looked freshly killed. So, they invited the police who came and took their bodies away.

The State’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna Mohammed has confirmed the news.

But his statement seems not to align perfectly with the suspicion that this was ritual killing.

“We took the bodies to General Hospital, Umunze. Autopsy revealed that the bodies appeared to have ingested some poisonous substance,” he said.
