PDP Wants Atiku Back
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has begun moves to recapture power by 2019 and their joker is Atiku.
The Adamama state chapter of the party has indicated plans to woo former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar back to the opposition.
According to the opposition party the former vice president is being under-utilized in the ruling party APC.
It was gathered that the chairman of the chapter, Abdulrahman Bobboi, stated this while answering questions from journalists during a news conference in Yola.
“Atiku is a founding member of PDP and we want him back; we are not going to give him a breathing space until he comes back as he is currently being underutilized in APC.
“We are going to reach out to him right from his ward to come back to PDP,” Bobboi said.
While lauding the Supreme Court's verdict recognizing Ahmed Makarfi as the national chairman of the party, Bobboi said PDP would bounce back and wax much stronger.
