Pastor, 6 Others Arrested With Human Parts In Cross River
A pastor and some members of his church have been arrested on the allegation of being ritualists.
Tony Obo, General Overseer and founder of the Royal God’s Commandment Ministry, was arrested after some members of his church were caught trying to kidnapped a baby.
The members were said to have confessed and led the vigilante members to the church, which is located at No 3 Okon Edak Street, off Atamunu, in Calabar South local government area of Cross River State
It was gathered that the pastor denied knowing those arrested.
The vigilante members later searched the church and discovered items like mystical sticks, pants and dresses, all with blood stains.
Over a hundred different kinds of human pictures mostly women, personal property and decomposed human parts were also recovered .
The pastor and the members were subsequently handed over to the police.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Irene Ugbo, who confirmed the incident, said seven suspected ritualists were arrested.
She said the suspects will soon be charged to court after investigations.
