OYO CAR DEAL! Kayode Made Millions Of Naira Selling SARS Vehicles
Adebisi Kayode is supposed to be a welder but he is now a crime suspect in custody of the Oyo State Police Command in Ibadan.
It will take some divine luck for him to escape the maximum punishment for his crime because he gives the police a bad name and they cannot possibly be happy with him.
Kayode has made huge amounts of money from impersonating a police inspector who defrauds people by telling them he would help purchase auction vehicles.
The Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude, paraded him along with other suspects at the Command Headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan on Wednesday.
“This impostor, who is a welder, unlawfully obtained money worth over two million naira from unsuspecting victims under the pretext of helping them to buy auction vehicles and other property from the office of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
“Items recovered from him are handcuffs, horsewhip, identity card, cash and four SIM cards,” he said.
Kayode, however put his profit at around 1.2 million naira but admitted being in possession of all exhibits that helped nail him.
“I was arrested two weeks ago. One of my friends, Corporal Sunday, became drunken one day and he could not drive home. I called his mechanic to drive him home.
“From his car, I took the handcuffs and the horsewhip. I told people that I was a police inspector in order to collect money from them. I have made more than N1.2m before I was arrested.”
