The All Progressives Congress (APC)’s candidate, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has emerged winner of the Kwara State governorship election.

This was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s Returning Officer.

The APC, from the scores announced from all the 16 local governments, polled 331, 546,  as against the PDP’s 114,754 in the election.

The returning officer for the election, Vice Chancellor Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa State, Professor  Liman Sanusi, announced the result and declared Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq winner of the election.

From the official results declared in all the 16 local government areas in the state, Abdulrazaq led Abdulrazaq Atunwa with a margin of 216,792 votes.

Atunwa is Senate President, Bukola Saraki’s anointed.

The ‘O To Ge’ movement seems to have landed the sucker punch on Saraki with this latest development.

Notably, the APC beat the PDP in all the local government areas.
