Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama is commiserating with the victims of the Otedola Bridge inferno which happened during rush hour in Lagos on Thursday.

Enyeama in a tweet sent his condolence to family and loved ones of the deceased.

He also hoped for a transformation in Nigeria following the catastrophe.

His tweet read, “God, let this sacrifice come to you. Let it be like the sweet smelling incense on your altar that will provoke your power to revive and transform Nigeria. #RIP to the dead. Condolences to the family and loved ones. #PrayForNigeria.”

A 33,000-litre capacity fuel tanker lost control of its brakes and fell causing an explosion on Otedola Bridge along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

9 people have been confirmed dead while 4 others are in critical conditions in hospital. 54 vehicles were burnt.

Lagosians have been advised to take alternate routes if exiting Lagos as the accident has caused traffic congestion on the road.
